Here is a cohort chart measuring weekly new buyer/seller activity in the MP. It includes sales data dating back to 12/28.
See the chart for help interpreting the data.

Takeaways:

🏷️Generally more than 40% each cohort's users were still buying/selling in their 8th week and nearly all cohorts had 30%+ active as of last week.
🏷️New buyers and sellers have dipped in recent weeks.

Bull Run:

Reading the chart diagonally shows the same static week across cohorts. In the example below, we can see that MP activity was high during the Feb. bull run. We can also see a similar trend of higher relative activity at the elbow of Apr & May, but to a lesser extent. pic.twitter.com/IZPK9OGUd4
Qualifiers:

🏷️New buyers/sellers are users who made a purchase or a sale in a period that did not have purchases or sales in any prior period.

🏷️New buyers and sellers are likely overstated in the first few weeks of the chart. It is probable those cohorts made purchases in earlier weeks, but I did not grab data going back farther.
